In The Word
Read: Ephesians 1:15-23
15 For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Walking In The Word
As Christians, the power of God Almighty is sometimes not comprehended fully in our lives. We need to look to God’s Word to realign our view on this important subject. We all quote, “Greater is He (God) that is in us, than he (Satan) that is in the world,” but do we truly believe and walk this out daily in our lives? (1 John 4:4). When Satan and one third of the angels rebelled against God, He cast them all down out of heaven. When Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness, Jesus overcame him and did not give into his deception. When Jesus encountered the man possessed with a legion of demons in Mark chapter 5, He commanded them to go into a herd of pigs. Satan tried to orchestrate the death of Jesus through Pilate, but He laid it down freely, showing Pilate that he had no power over Him (John 19:11).
We see then that Satan, demons, nor man has power over The Father, The Son, or The Holy Spirit. We have the promise that the power of God dwells in us. In fact, the same power that raised Christ from the dead dwells inside of us. That is the power of the Holy Spirit. Are you letting anything have power over you in your life? If so, you need to wake up and realize that the power of God Almighty dwells within you so that you are more than a conqueror in Jesus!
