In The Word
Read: Revelation 11:15-19
15 Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,
“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.” 16 And the twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying,
“We give You thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign. 18 And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath came, and the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to reward Your bond-servants the prophets and the saints and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”
19 And the temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple, and there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder, and an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.

Walking In The Word
The Lord’s Kingdom is where He has total rule and authority. It is a Kingdom of righteousness and truth. One day, the kingdom of the world will become the kingdom of our Lord. One day, we, His saints and bond-servants, will join with the twenty-four elders and fall on our faces in His glorious presence. We will give Him praise, thanksgiving, and worship for all eternity. But today, we still live in this world where many are enraged when we worship the Lord and follow His teachings. Today, even the government tries to say that our stand for Christ violates the civil rights of others. Today, not only in foreign countries, but even in this country, believers that say Jesus Christ is the only Way will face tribulation and even prison.
Jesus said in John 16:33 that in this world we will have tribulation, but He also said to take courage because He has overcome the world. That is good news that we can take peace and comfort in. One day, judgment will come for all. We who fear and revere the Lord need not fear that day because His true bond-servants will be rewarded. However, those who have rejected His love and mercy will see His righteous judgment executed. Give thanks today to the Lord God Almighty who was, who is, and who is to come. Take courage and remember that He has already overcome. His Kingdom come; His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
